Working remotely

2020 is an interesting year to say the least. COVID 19 changed how we live, work and ultimately experience life. I did have a couple of doubts whether this was the right internship given that Imago is a grassroot organization and I was looking forward to being on the ground and doing fieldwork in India. My reservations were very short lived as I kicked off my internship. We had weekly workshops with the SEWA Management Team and members of the social enterprises that were part of SEWA. The sessions were facilitated by Imago but it was truly a co-creative experience. The women of SEWA, were bold, sharing their perspectives, inquisitive and very engaged. The SEWA women were very empowered and had the answers. It was a truly inspiring experience.
